Sash n Stuff Group, is a start-up firm seeking to contract part-time ushers/usherettes who are passionate about the service industry. We require individuals who are able to bring elegance into an event and help create a smooth ambience whilst connecting with guests and fostering a friendly environment. As the first point of contact for guests, the usher/usherettes will represent the organisation at the venue and play a key role in creating a positive experience for all visitors. If you are friendly, outgoing, and passionate about customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Duties of the Ushers/usherettes

• Welcoming Guests- responsible for greeting guests as they arrive and directing them to their seats in a courteous, friendly, and helpful manner at all times.
• Managing the seating arrangement- responsible for managing the seating arrangement and ensuring that guests are seated in the correct location
• Providing directions and guidance to guests, including information on restrooms, refreshments, and other facilities.
• Monitoring the seating arrangement and making adjustments as necessary.
• Assisting with other duties as requested

Education and professional background

• Diploma in business administration, communication or any related field
• Bachelor’s degree in any business administration or any related field will be an added advantage

• Certification in customer service will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in English and Swahili and any other foreign languages
