Chief Information Officer - CIO (M/F)

We are looking for a Chief Information Officer - CIO (M/F) for our client, a multinational IT services company.

Mission:

• Ensuring the smooth running of the IT department.
• Propose and develop the company's IS strategy in line with changes in the structure.
• Coordinate and implement cross-functional management of the IT Department's activities.
• Drawing up action plans, in agreement with the business divisions.
• Defining and implementing the strategy, organisation and maintenance of information systems in operational conditions.
• Steering IT system development projects in conjunction with the business divisions and continuing the transformation plan initiated in recent years.
• Auditing information systems to identify technological risks and opportunities.
• Defining and implementing the security of the company's information systems.
• Anticipating new tools/software, making improvements and providing a medium- and long-term vision of likely developments (technological, requirements, regulations, etc.).
• Acting as the point of contact between the company, the hosting service provider and software publishers/integrators...
• Organising and managing the skills of the Information Systems Department, with a focus on serving internal and external customers.
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of IT.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related.
• +5 years' experience as a Chief Information Officer - CIO or in a similar position.
• Excellent project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to define and implement a strategic vision and effective action plans.
• Professional experience with strategic, organisational and operational responsibilities in defining, mapping applications, leading and managing Information Systems Department projects.
• Comfortable working with remote service providers (offshore development, freelancers, etc.) to increase speed and optimise development costs.
• Knowledge of mobile and cloud technologies and architectures.
• Knowledge of Agile methods in project management.
• An interest in technological innovation and an ability to keep abreast of the latest trends, in order to identify potential applications for the company.
• Experience of e-commerce would be a plus.
• Experience in managing and leading the relationship with technical partners is also a plus.
