Position : Junior Team Leader

Businessclaud is a fastest-growing e-commerce company in Kenya. We are also operating in several countries like Uganda, India, Nigeria and many more countries within Africa.

Understand that this is a purely remote job, if you have a problem with that feel free to decline.

Working remotely has challenges like you may choose to concentrate on other things and that is why we have strict targets for this Junior Product team leader position. This is a management role and you need to make sure a least 15 sales and marketing personnel out of the 256 you have, have hit their monthly targets. Refer to the contract you signed or are about to sign. Commissions are also paid based on consistency in recruitment Which means without consistency the 7.5% commissions might not be given

Internet allowances and airtime worth credit will be given based on your results/ performance.

  • You will be recquired to get more than 256 Sales & Marketing specialists whose role is to sell products. We don't pay for recruitments, check the contract you signed to see salary and how commissions are paid. We pay for getting the job done in terms of selling the products. The goal is to make sure you are getting clients buy from Businessclaud.
  • You have to make sure you you get atleast 15 Sales & Marketing specialists out of the 256 hitting their targets this means you need more than 256 Sales & Marketing specialists.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring and exerting pressure on the Sales & Marketing specialists with the purpose of making sure we get tangible results.
  • You will follow up to make sure Sales and marketing people working under the stated contract have been paid as required in the contract, either the commission or the salary
  • You will be required to report directly to HR, or one in charge of marketing if need be.
  • You will need to recruit Sales & Marketing specialists which means you have to take them through a short interview and ensure that you have trained them fully in this case we mean give them all necessary information that they may need to deliver their mandate.
  • You will need to follow up and make sure the Sales & Marketing specialists you have are indeed working ... After interviwing your candidates, make sure the sales and marketing personnel have submitted their contract
  • You will need to make sure even the Sales & Marketing specialists you are getting have signed the contract before proceeding with them. *To confirm that candidates have sent their documents to HR, they will need to keep you in the email loop and by this we mean if someone is sending documents to Hr, then it should be mandatory that they CC your email. CC means copy to your email. That way its easy to tell and monitor.*
  • About how many Sales & Marketing specialists are needed or how many sales and marketing to be recruited. *I think some of the people you will be recruiting don't have much experience or not all can do the job even after they qualify, a good number won't manage and to take care of this scenario the realistic number is 256 to 400 people if you need tangible results. The Sales & Marketing specialists you are getting have a minimum target of only 5 clients per day.
Required profile for job ad : Junior Team Leader


  • At least 2yrs experience in sales and marketing or related areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • At least Bachelors degree in Business administration, actuarial science, communication e.t.c
  • Leadership position experience will be an added advantage.
  • Computer skills (word, excel e.t.c)
  • Teamwork
