Position : Proposal writer & coordinator

What will I be doing?

As a proposal writer, you will be responsible for creating and delivering business proposals to our enterprise customers and partners.

You will analyze proposal documents such as requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and requests for quotations (RFQs).

After thoroughly researching requests to determine potential costs and benefits, you will prepare an appropriate response.

This process involves coordinating information and tasks with within the team; you must be able to gather information from the sales team, developers or engineers, vendors, and other partners to accurately determine projected costs and benefits.

Then, you will prepare a written proposal to communicate your company’s ability to effectively meet the contract’s needs at a reasonable price.

You may spend the majority of your time researching and creating proposal documents.

Additionally, you must ensure needed supplementary documentation are prepared for the written proposal.

You will be able to communicate all necessary liabilities and costs of proposed contracts to management, as well as work with management and other departments to determine proper bid pricing.

Proposal Writer Responsibilities

  • Read, review, analyze and interpret technical requirements and objectives of solicitations and other documents.
  • Write, edit, proof, format, and provide visualizations for proposals.
  • Facilitate and make revisions based on group feedback.
  • Brainstorm, write, and review proposals from inception to final delivery, managing to meet schedule.
