joined Standard Media Group Plc, the biggest media group in Kenya as the in-house Motion Graphic Designer for the commercial department.
While at Standard I work exclusively with the advertising department to create animated TV advertisement for their clients. I work closely with a copy writer and a creative digital strategist to create animated fun and relevant adverts that are broadcasted on Standard Media Group's TV Stations that is; KTN Home, KTN News, BTV and Farmers TV which reach millions of Kenyan Households daily.
At Standard, I have created promos and TVCs for some of the biggest brands in Kenya including EABL, Safaricom, some government agencies, CocaCola, Kenya Power and Lighting Company and so much more.

I was multimedia/motion designer based at the Group’s headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
Some of my responsibilities included:
- Support the brand with creating animations/motion graphics to progress the group’s activities.
- Support Equity’s Subsidiaries in design materials or training staff in line with Equity’s brand guidelines.
- Design a monthly e-magazine titled My Family which is published on Equity’s Staff network and is distributed to over 3000 employees.
- Design content for Equity’s social media networks for any subsidiary.
- Design any in-house communication or memos within the company.

Part of the team that set up the production of the 5th Estate Production, a political
segment that is a YouTube series and also shown on K24 TV. In this team, I generated graphics
for the show and edited the video weekly.
Headed the animation and music department at the 5th Estate .
The YouTube channel later transitioned to a TV station where I worked briefly.
