Brief Job Description:  Manage cost reporting of all allocated accounts within the Network Rail reporting framework including Cost Forecasting, Anticipated Final Cost, Cost of Work Done, Gross Billing, and Current Contract Value.  Manage assessment and valuation of contractor’s applications and processing of payment certification in accordance with Network Rail processes, contractual terms, and conditions commensurate with contractual entitlement.  Challenge cost elements and audit where appropriate and ensure valuations are consistent with agreed site progresses.  Monitor, manage and report on all commercial aspects of all projects under my portfolio, flagging issues and proposing mitigation actions at the earliest opportunity to the Senior Commercial Manager.  Undertake final account settlements and internal reconciliation, encouraging the demonstration of efficiencies by undertaking cost analysis of completed projects.

Brief Job Description:  Overseeing the Account Payable and invoicing function, ensuring the invoicing process and customer relationships are well managed and that deadlines are met in a timely manner.  Regular review of accounts payable processes.  Develop and support the accounts payable team, managing day-to-day activities and holding performance reviews and team meetings.  Liaising with the wider business to ensure timely approval of invoices, overseeing reconciliation of supplier statements, and investigation and resolution of queries.
